So, I thought the travelling was over.I returned back from New York on 8th May, and attempted to settle back into the mundane life of Rain-land. I settled back, got a job, sorted out uni, saw my friends, went on various trips to the beaches and up to Liverpool and generally not having the ability to stay in one place too long.
As seems to be the case with my gap year, unexpected things come along and change my plans at the very last minute. We received some horrible news at the beginning of this week and consequently I am going back to Aus. Flight booked tuesday night, last day at work wednesday, packing today and flying tomorrow. Talk about mental.
Pixie is also flying out and we arrive in Brisbane on Sunday - my birthday. It's set to be another mental few weeks - highly emotional and turbulent and god knows plans will change yet again. The most nerve-wrecking part about it all is flying to Aus via Singapore...let's pray lightening doesn't strike twice.
